Fabtration LLC is Now Hiring Welders!!

Fabtration, LLC is a steel fabrication facility that provides high quality manufacturing of custom engineered large-scale machinery for industries such as the asphalt, automotive, and material handling industries. Fabtration has been in business for over 15 years and since its opening has expanded its facility and its database of customers it has provided service to.

We are currently seeking individuals new and experienced to join our team of welders and fabricators. 2026 is looking to be a busy year for Fabtration and we are in need of high-quality welders to complete the projects planned for the year. The position we are looking to fill would be responsible for performing structurally sound and aesthetic welds on machinery constructed by Fabtration according to customer specs. Experience fitting is a plus. Most jobs constructed through Fabtration are newly engineered, so while we do construct multiple of the same projects, experience reading and interpreting blueprints is a major plus. Those interested in applying for this position must be capable of reading a tape measure down to 1/16″. There will be a written test prior to an on-site weld test that applicants will be expected to pass in order to be considered for the position.

Job Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints that include symbols specific to welding.
Perform MIG welding procedures to produce straight, clean and structurally sound welds on all projects. Fabtration also often uses Flux Core welding procedures. Experience with Flux Core is a plus, but not a requirement.
Use hand tools and power tools when necessary to clean up welds, perform final touches, prepare parts and areas of machines for weld out, and other necessary uses.
Measure using precision tools and tape measures for precise and accurate welding, cutting and fitting.
Fabricate metal structures such as filtration machines, tanks, and other large-scale custom engineered machinery according to customer specs.
Experience operating machinery like the press brake machine or plasma cutter for precise shaping of metal components is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience working in steel manufacturing is a plus.
Proficiency in MIG welding necessary. There will be a test administered prior to the interview. Experience with Flux Core and Stick welding procedures is a plus.
Knowledge of reading blueprints and interpreting schematics is also a plus.
Familiarity with typical steel manufacturing and fabricating machinery and tools such as brake press, drill press, overhead cranes, power tools and grinders.
Basic math skills for precise measurements throughout the fabrication process.
