maker space

In 2023, Harrison County Lifelong Learning opened a Maker Space within the learning center, creating a space where individuals have access to cutting edge technology and equipment. The project was made possible through a $40,000 grant from Samtec Cares and a $10,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation. The project includes advanced technology equipment such as 3D printers, a laser engraver, and a waterjet CNC. This space allows people to be innovative, creative and gain essential experience on state-of-the-art equipment.
