JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the timely, efficient and accurate execution of the Security Department’s systems administration and processes. Provides exceptional service to internal and external guests.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and reports.
- Attains and maintains knowledge of all Security internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Inputs incident statements and reports into the Itrak system. Responsible for the daily reporting process and distribution from the Itrak system.
- Updates and maintains the Master Ejection List for the property on a daily basis.
- Monitors the Responsible Gaming state file and brings pertinent information to the attention of the department leader.
- Maintains the ADT system and reports for authorized access only parking areas. Programs and deactivates parking passes.
- Receives, screens, reviews and disburses phone calls and mail for department leaders.
- Schedules and maintains department leaders’ appointment calendar concerning meetings, inspections, conferences, luncheons and discussions.
- Schedules, maintains and communicates meetings, reservations, travel arrangements and appointment reminders.
- Maintains systematized set of records and files.
- Prepares correspondence, memoranda, meeting minutes and reports.
- Serves as timekeeping editor for the department and performs timekeeping edits.
- Orders all materials and supplies via Stratton Warren for the department.
- Reconciles and approves invoices utilizing the DART system. Investigates variances and remedies issues.
- Maintains PTO tracker for the department and performs PTO time edits in timeworks.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor Degree from an accredited school is preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in an administrative support position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous security experience is highly preferred. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills required. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills required. Computer experience to include knowledge of word and excel is required. Must have a professional appearance and be a team player. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours).
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency while performing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
