This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Willing to work in a safe, continuous, efficient operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration system, boiler system and both high pressure hot water systems, water softeners, and air compressors.
Applicants must be able to pass a Pulmonary Function Test to obtain medical clearance for SCBA use required in the department. Must have 1 year relevant experience or education to be considered in Refrigeration Maintenance and be able to demonstrate hands on abilities and skills will be enhanced through computer based training modules to move up in pay scales. Must be willing to be a member of the Hazardous Materials Response Team and must complete all training required by State and Federal regulations.
