We are expanding and looking for knowledgeable, motivated individuals to join our team. We are currently hiring skilled personnel with welding ability. Candidates will work in a lean and efficient setting to manufacture custom products in our facility as well as perform onsite assembly/install work when required. The projects are always changing which provides variety in day-to-day responsibilities. Team members will see products through from beginning to end. The people on our team represent each of us and our company, therefore we look for like-minded individuals who take pride in a finished product that they built.

All Candidates must be able to perform a weld assessment test.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform processes for various types of weld preparation, fit-up, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture products according to prints, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
  • Welding ability is a requirement for the job, but weld time is generally less that 25% of working hours.
  • Attention to detail
  • Be dependable and on time.
  • Ability to work 5 days a week
  • Perform pre-paint mock up of finished assemblies.
  • Perform final assembly of weldmets in shop and onsite
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows Safety regulations.
  • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedule with minimum supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls and climb or balance; may work from heights. The employee is required as needed to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crawl: and talk or listen.

The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • The use of Safety Glasses/ Welding hood is required.
  • Steel or Composite Toed Boots and hearing protection in required areas.
  • Respirator in required areas
  • Protective clothing

Work Environment:

  • Clean, well-lit, indoor, heated facility with onsite parking
  • The employee occasionally works near mechanical parts.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to dust and/or fumes
  • Will be required to perform duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Travel Opportunity:

Occasional travel is a requirement of the job position. Wage rate for onsite pay is $5/hr. more than your regular base pay rate and is accompanied with company paid room and $50/day food allowance. Typical travel is during the work week with every effort made to be home on weekends. Travel time is paid from our facility to the jobsite and back. Destinations are safe locations and often include time to tour the area.

Education & Experience:

· High School Diploma/GED and 2 years solid work history

· Ability to communicate in English

· Ability to perform basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiply and divide.

· Experience in forming, rigging, painting, reading prints, is a plus but not required

Pay: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
