What a typical day as an Installation Technician might look like:

• Installs, removes, rearranges, programs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services.
• Installs and configures customer battery backup system and ONT router.
• Installs, maintains and repairs outside and inside fiber equipment/facilities including inside wiring and fiber jumpers at the distribution hub. Activates the ONT.
• Review home / business layout to determine job specifications and installation needs. Orders and/or obtains required equipment. Effects problem solving where appropriate.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• HSD, or equivalent education, is required
• Six months of related experience and/or combination of experience of technical certification/degree.
• Ability to work outside in changing weather conditions
• OSHA-10 Certification and/or CDL Licenses, preferred
