The Director of Finance and Accounting is directly responsible for the design, development, establishment and implementation of accounting, tax, auditing, budgeting, regulatory, internal control and financial reporting policies, procedures and administrative practices. Directly responsible for managing the accounting team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. This position is part of the Senior Management team of the Cooperative and is jointly responsible for the implementation of corporate policies.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required. Advance degree or CPA is preferred. Must have 5 to 7 years working experience with a strong background in financial management. Experience in accounting systems, planning and development. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required.
