The person interested in this job will need to have basic clerical skills , standard office procedure knowledge, some typing skills and basic computer knowledge. They will learn how to prepare and maintain civil cases, including new case files, maintaining protective order data and enter judgements.

Provides information and assistance on court proceedings, receiving fees/payments, verifying case information, issuing and recording marriage licenses, assisting with research requests, processing and filing completed passport applications, providing requested certified copies.

Background checks and fingerprinting checks will have to be performed after hire date, and passing these checks is a must in order to be employed by Harrison County Circuit Clerk’s Office.
