Fabtration is now hiring welders and fitters! Full-time positions available!

Job Overview: Fabtration is a custom steel fabricating company in Georgetown, Indiana. We are looking for experienced candidates at our facility. You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Your job is important as it provides the foundation for strong infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.

Types of welding performed at Fabtration:

• Mig welding
• Stick welding
• Flux core

Shifts & Hours of Operation:

FULL TIME: Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Pay: Our starting pay ranges between $18.00 – $22.00 an hour BOE.

Our pay is based on experience. Each candidate will be scheduled to come in for a weld test and interview. The weld test will showcase the individual’s work and allow our team to place you in the best fit position.

Physical capabilities:

• Must be capable of reading a tape measure down to a sixteenth of an inch
• Must be physically capable to perform general steel fabrication work requirements. (Standing, crawling, climbing, etc.)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have your own pair of steel toed boots, a welding hood & welding gloves.
