Maintain appearance of the interior and exterior walls, doors, ceilings, furniture in like-new condition.


  • Prepares surfaces and applies paint, varnish, shellac or other liquid materials with a brush, roller, or a spray gun on either interior or exterior surfaces.
  • Redecorates walls, woodwork, and furniture.
  • Installs, visually inspects, and repairs wall coverings and wallpaper.
  • Maintains detailed log of daily activities and trouble calls.
  • Ability to, ascend and descend stairs/ladders/scaffolding; maintaining equilibrium.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • 5 years at least previous commercial painting experience required.


  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing; ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work; initiative; well-developed inter-personal skills; ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.
  • Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints; ability to travel to various locations of the property.
  • Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job related issues; learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments; maintain knowledge of basic concepts and techniques.
  • Ability to perceive sizes, shapes, temperatures, textures; perceive depth and distance.
  • Ability to operate and work from a man lift.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.


  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time (minimum of four hours).
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency while performing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the casino; from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and/or push a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, grasp objects and the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises and bright lights.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
