(BRS) is a private not for profit organization founded in 1959 by six families that believed that all people are capable of learning when given the opportunity and appropriate support services. With this guiding philosophy for over 60 years the services we provide have expanded to meet the needs of our community and address barriers to independence for people with and without disabilities. Job Skills / Requirements

Promote the First Steps Early Intervention system through contact with referral sources. Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and community partners. Create content for program’s social media platforms. Ensure the coordination of child find, screening activities and distribution of public awareness materials throughout Southern Indiana. Lead the Local Planning and Coordinating Council in establishing priorities and goals. One full-time position will be located at the Corydon, IN office. Position requires public speaking, excellent communication & computer skills and solid organizational skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required for travel throughout the 15 county service area in Southern Indiana. Bachelor’s degree required.
