Adult Education
The Adult Education classes offered at Harrison County Lifelong Learning help students master basic skills in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and Language Art Reading and Writing. The course is free of charge and orientation is offered on a monthly basis
Classes are available four days a week to help students successfully pass the General Educational Development (GED) Test. Additionally, adults who have graduated from high school are welcome to attend if they need to improve skills
in preparation for employement or college entrance exams.
Each student enrolled in Adult Education classes completes a 90-minute Orientation session and the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). A conference then allows the student and teacher to review the assessment test results, determine the student's grade level in each section and develop specific goals for course completion.
