Gary Geswein, President
Gary Geswein is a graduate of Purdue University and holds a Masters Degree in Agricultural Education. He taught agriculture education for 38 years at North Harrison High School, Lanesville High School and for the State Department of Education before retiring. He is an active member of the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Lifelong Learning, Harrison County Purdue Extension, Farm Bureau Inc. and Harrison County Community Foundation. Between serving community organizations, he farms in partnership with two brothers on 500 acres in Palmyra where he lives with his wife Jean. Gary has grown 2 children.

Janet White, Vice President
Janet White is a graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Illinois University. She is currently the Director of Customer Service at Caesars Indiana. She has been employed with Caesars for over 8 years and previously served as the Director of Education & Development. Janet has over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry. In addition to serving on the board of Lifelong Learning, she is the Past President of Caesars Toastmasters and the former board chair for Leadership Harrison County. Moving from Chicago to work for Caesars in 1999, Janet now lives in Corydon with her husband and their two sons. |

William Nichols, Treasurer
Bill Nichols is the District 2 representative on the Harrison County Council. He is a mechanic, excavation contractor, cattleman and four-year president of Franklin Township Farm Bureau. He was instrumental in forming Harrison County Lifelong Learning and has served on its board of directors since 2001. He was born in Louisville and moved to Harrison County with the family in 1945. He graduated from the old Elizabeth High School in 1956. He is married to Jane, his wife of 40 years. |

Nancy Casada, Secretary
Nancy Casada is an Extension Educator with Purdue Extension in Harrison County and serves as the County Extension Director. She holds an undergraduate and Masters Degree in Consumer and Family Science from Indiana State University. Nancy has been with Purdue Extension since 1976, serving Harrison County since 1980. Nancy is very active in many community organizations including Rotary, the Healthy People, Healthy Families Coalition and Harrison County Step Ahead. She has served on the Board of Directors for Harrison County Lifelong Learning since 2003. Nancy grew up in Harrison County on a cattle and tobacco farm, showing Polled Hereford cattle. Now she and her Husband, Glen along with her daughter Amber Barks raise and show Boer Goats. |

Juan José Rodriguez, Director
Juan José Rodríguez has extensive teaching experience at the high school and university levels and has completed degrees and course work from Murray State University, Southern Illinois University, University of Louisville and Indiana University Southeast. After teaching at Corydon Central High School for more than three decades, he retired in 2004 to pursue additional interests. Juan José is an active community leader, serving on the Harrison County Lifelong Learning Board of Directors since 2003, and, under gubernatorial appointment, serving as a member of the Advisory Indiana Adult Literacy Coalition, among other activities of philanthropic interest. He resides in Lanesville with his wife Rudee Ann when he's not raising longhorn cattle at his farm in western Kentucky.

Dr. Neyland Clark, Director
Dr. Neyland Clark is the Superintendent for South Harrison Community School Corporation. Since 1996, Dr. Clark has directed the School Corporation’s business operations and overseen all school improvement initiatives and the development of curriculum. He is a graduate of Indiana University with extensive experience as a school leader and educator. Dr. Clark joined the Lifelong Learning Board of Directors in 2007. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County and is a member of the Harrison County Economic Development Committee. He lives in Corydon with his wife and has 2 adult children. |

Ralph Sherman, Director
Ralph Sherman is the District 4 representative on the Harrison County Council. First elected to the position 12 years ago, he helped create Lifelong Learning in 2001 using riverboat revenue and is actively involved in 4-H. He is a lifelong farmer who graduated from Laconia High School in 1957. He lives in Laconia with Barbara, his wife of 50 years. He has four grown children and eight grandchildren. |

J.R. Eckart, Director
J.R. Eckart is the District 2 representative on the Harrison County Commissioners, currently serving his second term. J.R. previously served as the Harrison County Surveyor for four years. He graduated from Corydon Central High School and holds a degree from Purdue University. J.R. has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and has served on the Harrison County Planning and Zoning Commission for 11 years. J.R. joined the Harrison County Lifelong Learning Board of Directors in 2008.
